Coraline is a 2009 American animated film based on the book by Neil Gaiman. The film is directed by Henry Selick and tells the story of Coraline Jones, an 11-year-old girl who moves into an old house with her parents. She discovers a secret door in her new home that leads to a parallel world, where she encounters enhanced versions of her parents and everyone else she knows. However, she discovers that this world is an illusion created by an evil witch who intends to keep her trapped and steal her eyes. Coraline must use all her courage and cunning to escape and save her parents.
